The Foundation congratulates Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & Philanthropic Advancement Azi Khalili for her inclusion on City & State New York’s inaugural Power of Diversity: Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) 50 list. We are proud that Azi has been recognized for her contributions to advancing gender equity and supporting intersectional communities through her work at The New York Women’s Foundation and through her prior appointments as executive director for the New York City Commission on Gender Equity, deputy commissioner in the New York City Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs and as then-Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s liaison to the Muslim community.
